29 January 2021 – Psalm 34:9-10 (NIV)

29 January 2021 – Psalm 34:9-10 (NIV)

Scripture

Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Reflection

As Christians, we must fear the Lord, meaning we must have a deep respect and reverence for God. Our life should show that we fear the Lord, in the way that we think, the way that we speak, in our relationship with God and people.

Fearing the Lord is beneficial, because those who fear Him have no lack, they will have all they need. Seeking the Lord should also be a must in our lives, because we love God. Similarly, seeking the Lord is of benefit as well, those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
