Last Monday at SCF ONE Prayer (SCF’s intercessory prayer ministry) we introduced a new focus for prayer. We are calling it the “M” Series. We are connecting to the heavenly Father in prayer around something that is close to His heart – for every person who has not heard about His son Jesus. Our Father loved the world so much that He gave His one and only son that whoever would believe on him would not have to experience eternal death; rather, they could receive eternal life in His name.
According the Joshua Project: “An unreached or least-reached people is a people group among whom there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group without outside assistance.” I challenged the group on Monday night to immerse themselves in the stories of the unreached/least reached peoples, and those who are going to reach them by visiting their websites. Now more than ever, almost anyone anywhere can be aware of the needs of any one nation or any one person’s individual story. It’s time to remember that before there was an internet, our Father in heaven knew the greatest need of every nation and every person and sent his Son. That all may hear; that none should perish.
