Scripture
“Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
Reflection
Walking in the fear of the Lord is for our good. Long life and prosperity are attached to it. As we walk in the fear of the Lord, the words that come out of our mouth matter. Only the truth should proceed out of our mouth, regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. Moreover, the fear of the Lord also teaches us to seek and pursue peace with God and men.
