Investing in Our Community
SCF is all about community. Indeed, the “C” in SCF stands for community, indicating it is not just something we do, but rather it is who we are. For us, church is so much more than a physical structure or weekly meetings. More importantly, it is a collection of diverse people who are committed to growing closer to Christ as we serve each other. That is what our community is all about.
And despite the difficulties of this past year, it is important that we continue to invest in community by spending time together and being faithful stewards of our gifts.
There are many ways to do this, including supporting SCF financially. Over the past few months, we have seen a steady decline in tithes and offering. This is understandable as the past year has resulted in a lot of dislocation, but for those who are still a part of SCF, I urge you to continue to give. Now more than ever, we need each other as faithful and committed members of this amazing community we call SCF.
